When expecting a child, whether it be the first or even the fourth, getting support and encouragement during the final months and afterward is vital. Motherhood comes along with a host of joys, tribulations, worries, triumphs, and of course questions. When moms are provided with a support network of women going through the same type of situations, it can provide not only the answers to the burning questions of child-rearing but also offer the woman a chance to express her feelings and receive inspiring messages from fellow moms who truly understand what she is going through.
At Integrative Pediatric Health Care, the practice provides mom’s groups which can cater to many different aspects of motherhood including but not limited to:
Speaking up in a group, regardless of the situation, can be nerve-wracking. However, it is important to remember that these are women who are going through similar experiences and that the group is designed to be a place to express feelings, thoughts, difficulties, and questions openly without fear of judgment. Working hard to share your stories with the other moms will make the experience the best it can be. Try to think of the statements below to help you be a bit braver when speaking up:
Here is a list of insurances we accept. We do not accept Kaiser or Denver Health Medicaid or some plans that were purchased on the health exchange website. Each plan has unique benefits, so we encourage you to contact your insurance to ask if we are in-network. Please have your card at the time of service; co-pays are expected at time of visit. If we are not in-network, if you are not insured, or your insurance is inactive, payment is due at the time of service. We can coordinate payment plans when needed.
